The Marathon Grand Slam Club is comprised of persons who have completed a distance of a marathon (26.2 miles) or longer on each of the Seven Continents and on the Arctic Ocean in the North Pole Marathon.
Members will receive a certificate and t-shirt. To be eligible for membership, you must have completed a recognised marathon or ultramarathon on each of the continents, exemplify the spirit of adventure marathon running and be able to authenticate your claim for membership.
Polar Running Adventures highly recommends certain marathons for delivering a top quality event. Like the North Pole Marathon, these races offer much more than the mere opportunity to run 26.2 miles. In all cases, they offer a sense of adventure, a picturesque location, a unique cultural experience and a welcome feeling of camaraderie. However, Grand Slam contenders do not have to take part in these particular events to become members.
